JEAN GILBERT’S FRESH CRANBERRY HOLIDAY SALAD

from the kitchen of Kathy Gilbert

Ingredients:

— 1/2 pound fresh cranberries

— 1 cup sugar

— 2 cups seedless red grapes

— 1 cup chopped nuts

— 12 large marshmallows, cut in pieces

— 1 carton of whipping cream, whipped

Directions:

— Grind cranberries with sugar. Let sit overnight.

— The next day, cut grapes into quarters and add to cranberries.

— Fold in nuts, marshmallows, and whipped cream. Serve the same day.

— Recipe can be doubled.
