“Everyone will share the story of your wonderful goodness; they will sing with joy about your righteousness.”
–Psalm 145:7, NLT
The Story of JOY is woven throughout the entire Bible, and is found in Jesus! We want to pause together to reflect on His story. At the Christmas Coffee, we will hear from our special guest speaker, Dr. Amy Orr-Ewing—coming all the way from Britian—as she shares with us the hope and joy of the gospel story told throughout Scripture!
Take a moment to enjoy the beauty of the Christmas season with a steaming cup of coffee, a pastry, and rich fellowship. Meet new ladies and catch up with old friends at this year’s Christmas Coffee at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa.
Our Christmas Marketplace will be open before and after the morning program to give you time to wander through the pop-up shops from local artisans and talented individuals whose passion and creativity can be seen in all their goods, trinkets, baubles, and beyond. Oh, and did we mention? The boutique will be open both Saturday AND Sunday to give you plenty of time to shop!
Tickets available online for $15 or in the church office for $12. Your ticket will include entrance to the morning program, a gift from us to you, and a delicious morning treat, with your choice of coffee, hot cocoa, or tea.

Mary’s Voice: Advent Reflections to Contemplate the Coming of Christ
Amy has written a beautiful book of Advent reflections to guide you through the Advent season looking at the story of Christmas through the eyes of Mary, the mother of Jesus.
At Christmastime, we remember that an ordinary, young, poor woman was chosen to play a significant and breakthrough role in the redemption of the world. It is no mistake that a woman gets to be a part of all this and that her voice, her questions, her fears, and her actions matter.
Mary’s faith and her wisdom form an astonishing aspect of the story of how God became a person for the love of this world. And in our weary world that is waiting and longing for light, meaning, peace, and love, we can do as Mary did when she “treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.
